On Friday, October 14th, Ernst & Haas visited the Escape Hotel, Hollywood. Our mission was to escape the room and beat the 60 minute clock. We were divided in 2 groups therefor we had to choose two rooms; Agent and Witchcraft. In the first team (Witchcraft) it was Paul, Jessica M., Susie, Raquel, Maricruz, Alyssa, and myself Jessica R. In the 2nd team (Agent) it was Annette, David, Lorenzo, Jenny, Esther, Octavio, and Kim. We took some pictures before we entered our rooms. The lobby looked amazing, The theme is well executed, it also has a cafe shop inside!
My team entered the Witchcraft room, it was well decorated. The puzzles were very tricky and mind challenging. They incorporate both standard locks and some technology. Each room opens with a video to explain the story. All of the rooms are goal oriented, we made it to the second part of the room. I wont give too much detail, i wouldn't want to spoil it for you who want to visit the Escape Hotel! The hotel concierge told us we were 3 steps away from escaping! If we would of had 5 extra minutes we would of escaped the room! The other team didn't escape either but were super close as well!
Overall we had an amazing night! We all worked as a team and almost made it out the rooms! I cant wait to see what our next company event will be!
