Dia De Los Muertos
"Day of the Dead" dates back hundreds of years. It is celebrated throughout Mexico, US and around the world. It is a multi-day holiday starting from October 31 to November 2. The holiday is a time for family and friends to gather to honor loved ones who have passed away. The holiday has many traditions such as building ofrendas (private altars), eating favorite dishes and drinks of the departed and visiting graves of the deceased. In Los Angeles, Dia de los Muertos events take place all over the city. From LA's oldest district to modern multicultural festivals everyone loves to celebrate!
