The Carbo Load and Friday Fun Fest will take place tonight from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Long Beach and will offer Carbo-Load dinner specials to help gear up for tomorrow's Tour of Long Beach. The outdoor vendor festival will also offer free kids activities and live music by Delilah Jones. "Riding Bikes with the Dutch", a film by local cycling advocate Michael Bauch, will be shown at 8 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Ferris wheel at The Pike (see trailer above). The Finish Line Festival will take place tomorrow from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will highlight the thousands of participants riding in the Tour of Long Beach. The day will also feature a vendor fair, kids activity area, bike safety and education booths, tons of food, and live music by The Copycats and MiniDriver Band. The event will benefit the Miller Children's Hospital. Cyclists of all ages are encouraged to participate and can register here.
